ABOUT DOODLEDUG!

Hello...  Thank you so much for visiting Doodledugs! 

 

My name is Hannah and I proudly design, illustrate and create all of the items on this site. I have been artistic all of my life and could always be found with a pencil and sketchbook in my hand in my younger years. From quick doodles to larger projects, I have always loved everything related to art & design.

I studied art at A-level before going on to do a pre-degree art foundation course. I have a BA Hons (Bachelor of Arts Hons) in Graphic Design and I'm also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (ACIM).

After many years in business and vowing to return to my creative roots at the start of 2022 and whilst on maternity leave with my second daughter, I began doodling again. I suffered with PTSD & post-natal depression after the birth of my first daughter and wanted to keep my mind occupied after the birth of my second. So, I purchased an iPad, which enabled me to get creative in between mum duties, as it was much easier to pick up & put down over traditional paint and brushes!

My bespoke illustrations and doodles became very popular and I’ve proudly created pieces for many customers in the UK and Europe. However over the past couple of years, the loss of my dear cousin, a traumatic divorce, an ADHD diagnosis at 38 years old and a period of poor mental health, I’ve neglected my creative side, even though it truly is the best therapy and helps me massively with the stresses of everyday life and my “proper job!”

At the start of 2025, the year I turn 40, I decided it was time to step out of my comfort zone, embrace my creativity once again and bring my children along with me on the journey. They love watching me create, often asking to get involved with foiling, card making, rock painting and they love having a go at drawing on the iPad.

I’m delighted to say that with a hugely supportive network around me (who have helped me get my spark back) my passion for art is reignited and I am always looking for craft events and pop ups to attend throughout the year - keep an eye out on my Instagram page for events i'm attending. My girls love to come along and help and I am thoroughly enjoying creating new designs to showcase...
